Widened, honey-colored orbs surveyed the reaction steadily. Needless to say, Anya hadn't expected that much shock in result of her arrival. A little surprised jump was one thing; diving onto the floor was another. Luckily, the girl soon stood and appeared undamaged by the fall aside from a bit of dust. Good - Anya didn't exactly want someone's death on her hands tonight, and this building with all of its debris appeared far from safe.
"okay..." With a weak attempt at a smile, she stepped forward and cast the light in a slow, deliberate path which she hoped would help her find the object that her new acquaintance described. The girl didn't really look away from the task at hand, hoping to catch the glint of metal in the beam's path, but she did respond to the polite introduction. "Anya." Her smile warmed with some customary courtesy as she glanced up finally, pausing her search.
Were it not for the fact that Anya was occasionally scatter-brained, she might have looked exactly where she'd seen Natasha only moments before. Instead, as if directed by fate, her eyes landed several feet upward from that point on a place where the moonlight was obstructed by a figure. It was Anya's turn to jump in surprise, though her movement was far less pronounced than Natasha's had been. Her heart still hammered in her chest as she imagined shock caused in all humans, and her eyes stilled widened exponentially, taking in the full width of its... wingspan.
A.Big.Ass.Bird.
That's what she was seeing. Anya wasn't exactly afraid of birds, but that didn't mean that she had to like them. Especially ones that were human-sized.... Still, most of her anxiety and nervousness stemmed from the fact that she was surprised by the entity, not what the entity itself was. When her heart slowed enough to stop imepding the thoughts of her brain, she logically reasoned that he must be a victim of radiation just like the two of them. No reason to be afraid, right? She even regained some of the smile she'd tried to cast only moments ago to offer to him. "Hi."
