You know, the story's author was on Opium the whole time he was writing the book. And he was a Pedophile, not an upfront "omg rape" pedophile, but a "-stares from distance- drool" pedophile.

Well, we all can't be normal, can we?
Look at Mr. Edgar Allen Poe~ He married his cousin (or was it his neice..? I'm pretty sure it was a cousin, though!). And wrote a beautiful poem about her. :'DD Of course there was more to him, but most people find the fact that he married his family disturbing.
