Question! Why do girls always feel the need to gossip when they are lurking around with members of the same sex?

Actually for the most part only prep, emo, and slut chicks do that. :/ At least at my school. We don't 'feel the need', but if we learn anything we shouldn't be telling others about we are tempted to spill to -someone-. ' We're just not good at keeping secrets naturally, but there are some better than others. In any case, 'gossip' is harsh word. I consider it to mean spreading false things about people to others. 'Updating' or 'exchanging information' would be more accurate.

Female advice?! X.X Thank the Gods!
OK, OK, can a girl really be best friends with a guy like she can with a girl? I mean, my best friends a girl but do they accept it like I do? ((and I'm not gay -.-))
Also, if a girl talks to you more about her boyfriend problems and you help her out more than her female friends, does that mean something?
Thanks!
~~Doc ((but not a Love Doc obviously))

Lulz.
Firstly, hell yes! Gays are easiest for this to happen with, but straight guys can be best friends with chicks too. Certainly they'll accept it like you do, but at some point or another romantic feelings are bound to happen, at varying levels. It might not get anywhere, or maybe you'll get married. Just depends on where both of your lives go, and how she wants to handle it. n.n
Yes, definitely. Several things could be happening. 1. To confide in you about something so personal, this is a sure sign she feels really close to you and trusts you. 2. Talking about her boyfriend in any way with a close male friend, she might be trying to make you jealous, but this doesn't necessarily mean in a bad way. I have a close male friend who very obviously is in love with me, and I don't feel the same way about him, and although I keep this clear he still knows I love him as a friend. He often talks about his girlfriend problems with me, and I can tell this is a way of both keeping me updated with his relationships to let me know when he's single and possibly trying to make me jealous or feel bad for him. But of course all the while he's still confiding in me simply because I'm a friend; if he liked a girl that he didn't know as well as me he probably wouldn't try this/confide in her.
Hope I've helped. n.n <3

I do not gossip. I speak the truth and the truth alone. No advice needed, except for when it comes to boys. The ones I've met are soooo sweet! My sincerist love to cute and sweet guys!

QUESTION: DO YOU THINK I AM GAY? nuh, don't answer that.
better question: How can you tell if a girl REALLY LIKES YOU? AH! WHY DO YOU FEEL THE NEED TO TEASE ADRIAN AND RUN HIM IN CIRCLES SO THAT HE'S LIKE "WTF JUST HAPPENED?!?!?" AND THEN YOU GIGGLE AND RUN AWAY SAYING "OH I GOTTA GET TO CLASS!!"

Nancy, I'm afraid you just lied there. :] I can believe you if you don't gossip, but you can't not lie your entire life. Everyone has lied at least once, if not more than that. Honesty isn't necessarily completely important; there are some things that really shouldn't be shared, and must therefore be covered up.
But anyway. Firstly: Because many of us feel the need for companionship. D: Sure, a lot of us act independent, but a lot of times a girl who acts like she doesn't need anyone needs someone more than anyone else.
Secondly(answering anyway): Nu. o-o I answered that before, lulz.
Thirdly: Well, when they run you in circles like that they're just flirting, and no matter what their intentions I can say that that is no way to get a guy. -.- To tell if a girl likes you... well, it depends on the girl. Some are romantic and obvious, blushing or shy all the time. Others will put up a tough appearance like they're totally not into you/don't even need a boy, but if you do the right thing(NOT A PERVERTED THING, MIND YOU) you'll most likely catch them blushing and that's a sure way to tell if they actually like you. Another way is some girls, say ones that are close friends of yours and you're wondering about their complete feelings, will avoid the topic of relationships and love when talking with you(of course this could just mean they think that's a generally awkward subject). However, sometimes you really just can't tell. Some girls really really like a guy but are too shy to ever do anything about it, and in this case most boys are too stupid to notice. :]
Ta-daaa.
