Never join Pendragon forums. It may look like good roleplaying, but just don't do it.
THE IDIOCY THERE NEVER FAILS TO INFURIATE ME, AND AT THIS LEVEL I AM NEARLY SPEECHLESS. Nearly. Hence this rant.
The good roleplayers try to teach failures how to roleplay. They learn nothing, and all that happens is a fuggin' war between the veterans, newbs, and n00bs in the thread.
Flaming was abundant until all the veterans GAVE UP and LEFT.
On occasion various spammers get seemingly HUNDREDS of screen names and post shit, over and over and over and over.
People repeatedly post rants about the idiocy of the forum, yet most of these people don't even leave despite it. And these threads also blow up into an argument war. IF YOU'RE UNHAPPY ENOUGH TO MAKE A WHOLE THREAD OF FLAMING IN THE FORUM, THEN LEAVE(I'm only there 'cuz I have no other frequently populated forums to play in, and I'm still active in just one roleplay there. :'D ).
People will join roleplays but then never post in them. Not even an intro. What the fuck.
After you DIRECTLY REPEATEDLY IN CAPS SAY not to do something, they do it. For example what made me snap today. I clearly said in the post not to spam with OoC, and even for those who don't know what OoC spam is I said ALL RESPONSES GIVEN IN PM UNLESS JOINING and the first poster - WITHOUT JOINING THE ROLEPLAY - goes "the title is confusing ppl, but after i saw it was by you i looked but it doesnt interest me, sorry." WHAT THE HELL. THAT IS CALLED OOC SPAMMING, AS I CLEARLY JUST TOLD YOU NOT TO DO, CLEARLY STATING TO RESPOND IN PM.
WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH THESE PEOPLE'S BRAINS? WHY DO THINGS BOUNCE OFF THEIR LITTLE SKULLS LIKE TENNIS BALLS OFF A CEMENT WALL?
GOD DAMNIT IT'S THE FORUM THAT MAKES ME WANT TO PUNCH INFANTS.
