My name is Alexander O’Brien Warner. It means Protector of men- one who is strong- and Warrior. A name picked for me that would carve my destiny for the rest of time. You see the world around you is not as it seems. Humans are not the only superior minds on earth. In fact humans are actually the lowest higher intelligence on earth. They are also the most limited here as well. There are others on earth that has shown up in myth and lore of humans, and with the help of human’s natural ability to exaggerate exponentially they have stayed just that. But I fear that soon the worlds that have coexisted for so long are about to turn into one big mess....

Kaleo is a Vampire that wishes to destroy the barrier between the human and magical world. He thinks he can do this unopposed and free of the charter laid down by the great leaders eons ago. You are either with him or against him.

Okay I haven't gotten this far in the story but I want to turn this into an rp so here is a little spoiler for you. The story will eventually lead to me finding out that a few of my friends are from the magical world. In the story I would usually manipulate what type of magical beings they are but i want to see your guys' takes on it, here are the races you can be.
Psychic, Vampire, and Mage

Psychic: a psychic can do many things such as teleport short distances (phase) levitate items, humans, and other things. They can fly, read minds mess with a persons thinking but this is forbidden unless you are fighting someone other then a human, or an extremely dangerous human. They can create illusions by messing with peoples minds and can talk to people through mind links.

Vampire: Vampires are creatures of solitude for the most part but a few have integrated in to the human world, if only to feed on them later. They can, if they so choose, live off human food but don't prefer it. Their skin is hard as marble to a humans hand and they are only irritated by the sun. Most are evil but some help the psychic community and have helped take out other Vampires. Vampires can transform into different animals and not just bats. They can only turn into one animal though. They can fly and turn invisible in shadows if they choose so. Advanced vampires can look at a person and know his fears, and exploit them.

Mage: a mage can use general magic has limited mental powers (he can use mind links but that’s it.)

History and Clan status: second in comand of the proectors under his uncle the leader of the clan. Alec has just goten back form training around the world with his uncle. it has been almost a full two years since he started his training. during that time his powers grew to be almost as strong as his uncles even though he was a novice and his powers had only just began to open when he started his training.

Animal: Crow

Has a scar going down through his left eye onto his cheek, but this is basically always hidden by his hair. Corvid form is a crow slightly larger than average, although scrawny with scruffy feathers.
Good or evil: Good
History: Simon has always hated what he is, and opposes most other vampires' take on their superiority. Despite self-loathing he still feeds on humans, as having a weak immune system nothing else sustains him enough. Also due to his weak immune system, he's quite temperature-sensitive and more prone to burning in the sun.

Age: thirteen
Appearance: Short black hair, usually clipped back to the right. Dark green eyes. She wears jeans and tank-tops most of the time. Ana is always the smallest out of her group of friends.
Destiny: She is supposedly going to make a wonderful leader one day, but for the time being she's a small, scrawny little thing that barely speaks.
History and Clan status: Ana is not high up in the family, nor does she show very much potential unless caught under extreme circumstances. Her clan is small, and virtually unknown. However, they pride themselves in being generous to anyone that requests assitance. Ana was always raised to treat strangers as friends until they proved to be otherwise.

Alec walked down into the quad of his school; he had been training his mind all summer with his uncle. His body was stronger and more defined then it was the year before. He also didn’t need to wear glasses any more he could enhance the vision receptors in his mind to see perfectly or even better then a normal human.

He walked up to his friends Simon and Ana. He had known them since the first grade. He had suspected him of being a vampire; Simon had never really liked the sun and had always sent out a small vibe of blood lust. As for Ana he knew she was a psychic, they had trained together for a time in Rome with their uncles.

Alec stretched out his mind and touched Simon’s, just as he had suspected. Simon’s mind was the same as any other Vampires mind he had touched, filled with blood lust, though some suppressed it, Simon hated feeding on human but did it any way do to a weak immune system. He dared not dig deeper, do to a trust issue he had. He never dug any deeper in his friends mind without permission.

“Ana, Simon How was your summers, do tell” Alec siad winking at Ana

Ana blinked, startled by the sudden appearence of her friend. She had been lost in daydreams, which was not uncommon for her these days. It had not occurred to her to begin a conversation with Simon before, and, admittedly, she felt guilty.

Nonetheless she managed a smile, her arms folded through the straps of her backpack so that it hung, dangling a mere inch away from the floor in front of her. It was a rare occasion to see her actually wearing it the way it was meant to be carried.

"Oh, mine was fine..busy." Always a person of few words she glanced around before turning her attention to Simon, curious to see what he had done all summer. The wink from Alec seemed to have passed by completely unnoticed.
