Alexis shook her head, shifting her far away gaze onto Simon and blinking. She quirked a brow before setting the cup over the bottle of gin and taking them back to where she had gotten them from. As she wandered back in the room, she began pulling the shutters closed, saying as she did so, "I suppose you're going to be going out tonight, Mr. H?" she moved into the front room, or rather, the pie room and began closing up in there as well.

His gaze remained on the floor, and he was eerily silent, statue-still. Finally he glanced at her. "... What for?" He asked quietly. He could think of no good reason to go out, yet he did feel like wandering. His eyes had returned to their normal black-brown rather than the hate-filled solid black.

She gave a light shrug and struck a match, lighting candles and oil lamps now so she wouldn't be left to squint into the dark. She didn't light many though, only enough to where she could see. Once finished, she blew on the match lightly to extinguish the flame before throwing it away.
"You don't seem like the type of man who stays in at night," she said finally, turning to face him. "Or, that's how it seems, really."

His gaze drifted to the floor again, another silence eating at the minutes. He then strode past Alexis to the door, staring out its window with eyes that presently revealed little of his thoughts - besides the constant 'I think I feel like killing somebody'. His hands pressed against his sides to feel the razors in his pockets, as if their presence was soothing. He looked at Alexis again. "... I'll be upstairs until it's dark." He said quietly, as the sun hadn't set yet. He walked to the side door, opening it, gliding out, and letting it close behind him as he went up the stairs and into the attic. Once inside he strode to the window, staring out at the gray city as the clouds became increasingly darker.
( Both of you post, then I'll head out... Perhaps Edward can take some action then... )

((All righty~))
Alexis just nodded at Simon's words before heading into the living room, plopping down on the couch and pulling out a book from beneath it. She figured she probably should be making more pies but she all ready had tons she had made from the night before and earlier this morning.. Shrugging, she flipped open to the spot where she had last left off and let out a small sigh. She let her chin rest in the palm of her hand as she began to read quietly.

Edward began running. he would make it back to Fleet Street soon. "Dammit..." he mummbled, the word messed by his running He slowed, seeing the shop, a small amount of light coming from the windows. He looked around. He couldn't tell if Simon was still there. He stopped, and looked in the door. No one was in sight. He slowly entered the door, the small bell ringing. The noise the bell let off sounded much louder than it really was in the silence of the room. Edward cursed under his breathe. He'd meant for his return to be quiet. He quickly ran to the counter, trying his best to hide. He wasn't sure which direction they would come from so he tried his hardest to not be seen from each angle.

Alexis perked at the tinkling sound that came from the small golden bell she had set up by the front door. Her eyes drifted away from her book and she listened quietly for a few moments, wondering if she had really heard footsteps or not. A frown appeared between her brows and she set the book down, standing up slowly. She had locked that door.. hadn't she? And it wasn't Mr. H who had entered, there was no bell on the side door..
She grabbed a candle and made her way into the dark front room, trying to keep her foot falls as muffled as possible. She held the candle up, trying to see past the small circle of light it provided but failing to do so. She pursed her lips. If it was a theif...
"Hello..?" she called curiously.

((When he grabs her, he is behind her, not infront....just to let you know))
Edwards mind raced. 'Take the girl, run, turn her agains Sweeney, get the razors, ditch the girl' he thought, his fae growing hot. He had to act quickly or he wouldn't have time. She would surely call the 'man' down soon, to help her look for him. Without thinking of what to say Edward jumped out from behind the counter and raced towards Alexis. "She, sh...sh, don't day a word." He said as he placed a hand roughly around her mouth. He could feel her warm breath agains his hand "Good Christ, what am I doing?" He asked himself, grabbing Alexis by the waist. "Listen," he said, pulling her to him, tightly so she wouldn't squirm, "I need your help. That man is no human. Simon Hollow is Sweeney Todd, Benjamin Barker!" He whispered, his voice grwoing in volume as he talked He tried to find a way to talk her into going with him. "You've seen those razors, right?" He asked, his cheek resting against hers He nudged her with his chin, lifting her head so he could speak right hin her ear. "They belong to ME. I need my razors, and you will help me if you want to live." Edward crused himself internally. He would't have the nerve to kill her. He may not like her that much, but she was till a kind woman, she'd done nothing to harm him. He kept the scowl on his face, careful not to let her see through his act.
