Nightmare Rising

[Egyptian Myth]

The little town of Aisling. Autumn. Not a particularly pleasant or cheerful town... There haven't been new residents in a few years, citizens have kept people out; the remaining citizens live in constant fear - at night they draw their blinds closed, and pray for the best. The few townsfolk that can be found wandering the streets walk lethargically with tired eyes, almost like zombies; sleepless. The people of Aisling try as hard as they can not to sleep, for whenever they do, their dreams - and nightmares - come to life. For this reason they avoid sleep at all costs, out of fear of what they may find when they wake up. But a person can't stay awake forever...
Living in their own little world where things are never the same as they were the night before, the people are frightened, filled with terror at the mere thought of sleep. But still, the idea of discovery is an even scarier concept. Who knows what could happen if anyone happened to wander in on the town of Aisling? Unsuspecting, naive to the reality of nightmares.
Now, however, a van carrying three friends on a road trip crashes near the town. The three friends wander in seeking repair for the vehicle, and shelter until it can be fixed. How will the citizens take this? Two of whom have recently slept, and now the results of their dreaming are probably in the town somewhere....

Rules.
- No GMing, controlling other's characters, or killing other's characters without permission.
- Be literate. Use grammar and spelling to the best of your ability.
- Violence, romance, and swearing is allowed but not to extremes.
- I and one other will be the antagonist; so there's only one spot open for a dream/nightmare character request. Once that's full you can't be a dream/nightmare, get over it. :P

There will be the three friends from the crashed van, and two citizens. Two antagonists will be played by myself and someone else, as said. Templates -

[Lunar Tragedy]

Appearance: Short red hair cropped at chin level, grey-blue eyes and pale skin. 5'3" and kind of curvy
Other: She has a fairly outgoing demeanor with friends, but closes up if she feels threatened or imposing. Though not very domineering, she does have a few good ideas that she'd probably share if it were neccessary.

((I wanna try to talk Ivory into filling the other antagonist position. She has a dream demon character. ^_^))

Appearance: She has medium-length light brown hair, cut in many layers. Her eyes are dark green with tints of gold throughout the iris. Kida is fairly small, even though she is technically described as 'average height.'
Other: Kida is a very quiet person, even around the people she knows extremely well. However, even when her mouth is shut she is thinking up a storm. It is usually easy to read her thoughts by watching her face.
