Nancy nearly screamed at the sound of another voice. She looked back and saw a young boy sitting there. Angrily, she crawled over to the boy and spoke, " What all did you hear, little boy? What's your name? Answer me!" Nancy was nearly screaming at this point. Her forehead was pulsing frantically and her jaw was clenched. She held the child's arm tightly. Then she turned to Ree and Tier. "You knew about this didn't you. You set me up. You are all traitors! I should've known not to trust you. Explain this."
Nancy drew a knife from a hidden pocket on her pants and hissed angrily in a language entirely of her own. She knife was pointed at Tier and Ree, but she kept a sharp hold on the boy. "Tell me what this is about and no harm will be done. If this was another trap, I will kill. You can bet on that." Nancy was still tense and her eyes blazed with madness. She wasn't going insane, but her entire race was on her shoulders and if a human child knew, then she would be to blame. She waited impatiently for an answer.

The young boy also startled Tier a little but the sprite couldnt hold back his laughter at the site of Nancy flipping out. He stumbled back a little, still laughing as she drew the knife.
"Haha! Nancy Nancy Nancy......I dont know whats funnier, the boy scaring you or the fact that you think I teamed up with a human child! And after I swore service to you to.... Come on Nancy, think for a minute! I have no idea who this brat is! What about you Ree? You secretly aiming to take down Nancy with a little boy? HaHaHa!"
The Sprite dropped his dagger, laughing his head off. He leaned up against the bottom of a shovel, trying to regain his composer and awaiting for Ree to say something.

( x_x FOR GOODNESS' SAKE, WAIT FOR MEEEE. Tier, Adrian's not human. :/ Cat ears and tail, duh. Lulz. )
Ree was quiet as she listened to Nancy. This all seemed quite ridiculous to her. She didn't want to get involved, she had bigger things on her hands. Sal was silent, preening occasionally. She stroked his head, him bobbing it in response and nearly purring. She was silent as to whether or not she was willing to help.
When the boy spoke she was not at all surprised. She had smelled him long ago. But she did not at all care for Nancy's reaction. Her golden eyes narrowed fiercely, and Sal tensed, sensing her anger. Her ears went back, upset but reluctant to take action. "Let him go. He's just a boy. If your goal was really to protect, you wouldn't have taken such a violent turn." Her voice was calm but cold, surprisingly chilling compared to her previous care-free demeanor. She also smirked, although it was chilling. Another side of her was showing through. "If you're so inhuman, you should've known he was here. And Tier's got a point. You've got quite the streak of paranoia to think we'd go this far to set you up somehow." Sal made the avian noise equivalent to a chuckle.
But she was soon fierce again. "Now put Adrian down. He is with us, but we're not against you." She resisted the impulse to add a creative insult of considerable vocabulary at the end of that sentence like she normally would, taking into account the current circumstances.

"You're a nutter, lady." Adrian commented blandly. His expression remained apathetic, and didn't even make an attempt to get away. As he looked up at her his dark hair parted and slightly showed twin brown eyes, so dark they looked black. He gave her a long blank stare, a look so empty, it was either sad or stupid.
"You're hurting me...And you're still being very loud..." He balled his hand into a little fist, trying to keep it from going numb, completely ignoring all the questions flying through the air.

Nancy, still holding her knife, let go of the boy. "Listen, boy. What are you? Human? Dear god." Nancy asked sharply. She then turned to Ree, "You did this to me? You put me in a barn and saved my life only to hurt me. I'll let your friend go without any harm done if he is not a human. If he is, I am sorry, but I must kill him." Then she turned to Tier, "For some odd reason, which I am currently unsure of, you seem to be the only person who I am willing to trust right now. Thank you." Nancy smiled kindly at the Sprite. This was going to be one heck of a time. Angry and confused, Nancy waited, knife still in hand, for a reply.

((just workin off of Nancys distress here xD Wow so much for order eh? This is what Im use to!))
Tier bowed to Nancy and Ree. "Why Im flattered by both your comments!" The Sprite turned again to Nancy. "But I must insist dear, by the looks of things, thats not a human. He's a......::Tier pondered for the human word.:: Kitty, see the tail and ears? Well he's more of a confused kitty at this point but we've all been there am I right? So why dont we put Kitty boy down and let Ree take care of him?...." He knew he had to get Nancy off the boy or Ree would surely take the boy from her in a more brutal manner. Tier stepped forward from the shovel head, wondering how this would all play out. He knew down in his heart if conflict broke out, he would be force to pick sides and it was hard to choose between getting killed by a bird or getting draw on and dieing.

Ree frowned, slapping her forehead. "Oh for goodness' sake Tier, he's a cat demon. You must be sleeping when we educate you on these things not to know that." Ree turned to Nancy again, eyes calm but visibly containing ferocity waiting to spring. "Does he -look- human, Nancy?" She said tiredly. She was growing sick of all this. "In any case, I would like to see you -try- and kill him." She was not only confident Adrian could either dodge or merely teleport away, but if he for whatever reason failed to avoid Nancy's assault she herself could step in however she saw fit.
"What's his species got to do with it, anyway?" She made a motion with her fingers, gently indicating Adrian to come over to her to improve protection ability. Sal stopped preening and turned around, fluttering forward slightly. /Can I go now now? I'm bored./ Ree leered at him briefly. /No, you may still be of use./ He sighed, form deflating as he did so, and corvidly sort of waddled back around and sat down reluctantly, like a child being forced to come in from playing because it was storming.

"Fine. I'll let the boy go. But should he try anything, he will d..." Nancy said, then stopped herself as she let the boy go. "Peace, Ree. I let your boyfriend go. Now, can we talk about this and who was trying to set me up here? Ree, I need your loyalty and oath of silence before we can discuss anything, and I will need the boy's as well. As for the bird, will he stay silent about all of this or will I have to force him to leave as well?" Nancy said calmly now. Stupid mortals, she thought. Why on earth would they try to set me up without already knowing my plans. At least I have a 6 inch Sprite to depend on. How pathetic is that?
Nancy shook her head in disgust. She was quite exhausted, but knew that there were better things to do than sleep. She had to find Elizabeth before it was too late and she had to do it either with or without these creatures help. She had her Sprite for protection at least. She waited for a reply.
