":let's go RIGHT NOW!" Matt turned around and dashed out the library only to walk back in and sit on the floor, again. "We'd never get away with it, puppies don't like living in shoe boxes." Matt pouted for only a moment then said "I'LL MAKE A PUPPY!" He got back up and walked over to a shelf and pulled out a seemingly random book. He flipped through it and out of it he pulled out simple lined paper. He folded the corner down and ripped it so that it was square. He kept folding and unfolding until he eventually made a cat-like animal. "whups." He mumbled. He paused to think for a minute then just folded the ears down and tore the tail so it was shorter. "Viola, a puppy."

Sam blinked and nodded slightly in agreement and said in his soft quiet voice, "Sorry". Sam then moved out of the blonde haired boys way and continued to stand next to the silver haired one, he really did not know what to do now. The CD finished then and there, the player popped open and the CD gently flew out of it and landed softly in a corner, instantly Sam pulled out another CD and placed it into the player.

Nari huffed at Matt quietly, crossing her arms over her chest. He obviously doubted her uncanny skill of sneaking things into the house!! She watched him through curious eyes as he made a puppy out of paper then, inturn, she made a butterfly.
"Voila," she stuck it on his head before jumping up, grabbing her sketch book and tugging on his hand. "Follow me! I gotta show you something." and then she ran off, dragging Matt with her.

Near frowned at Mello's rudeness, watching the older boy go before turning to Sam, blinking. He shuffled over to the fallen c.d. and picked it up, handing it to the other boy before sighing wearily.
He never could understand why so many people disliked him.

"Where are we going?" Matt asked rather confused. He was trying to stay on his feet after Nari. "Come onnn" He whined after her. "You're going to pull my arm off!" He stumbled slightly and followed along quietly, now. Fussing wasn't helping much anyway.

In the kitchen, the same group of kids who were making a mess in the bathroom were filling up the kitchen sink, with one little girl holding onto the turtle. It kicked its little legs thinking it was going somplace. Mello watched for a moment before speaking up "You know, that's not a water turtle, you guys are going to drown it." The kids who were filling up the sink looked up at him then back at each other. "how d'yah know?" one boy piped up with a frown. Mello took the turtle from the girl "you see its feet? they aren't webbed at all, he can't swim, so go take him back outside." Mello said simply, giving the turtle back and watching the kids run into the hallway like a miniature stampede. Mello drained the sink and washed his hands. He opened a cabinet and got a chocolate bar, but didn't open it. He dried the counter and sat on it, looking out into the hallway, with no great desire to do anything.

"You don't think you can hide a puppy?" Nari quizzed as she pushed open her door, exposing her unnaturally clean room. There, on her bed, lay a small black kitten curled in the covers and sleeping quietly.
"Look at that," she smirked. "I've had Rye here for two months now. And no one has even found out." she rounded on Matt and begged, "But you can't tell anyone!" To be truthful, she only went out of her room to get books, eat, and visit random places. And then she came back to make sure Rye wasn't lonely, of course.

Matt stared at the little kitten and smiled. "Aww..." He looked back at Nari. "Cats are naturally easier to hide than dogs though. Think about it. Puppies whine and bark, Kitty cats are usually quiet. Besides, Mello's constantly coming into my room, and would immediately know I was hiding it. So, no, I don't think I can hide a puppy in my room" Matt went over to pet the kitten. "...So little...and don't worry I won't say anything...They'd just take the little kitty away...Where'd you find it anyway?"

"True! But it really depends on what kind of dog you get," Nari countered Matt, but with an agreeable tone. She plopped down on her bed, causing the kitten to stir, and watched as he sniffed at Matt curiously.
"Outside," she replied. "He managed to get stuck in the fence and I heard him mewling one night.." she trailed off, shrugging.
