He frowned, turning to keep facing her as she scurried down the aisle and went around the corner. Simon turned and glided right through the bookshelf beside him like a ghost, before Izzy had glanced back. He was then standing in the aisle the girl had been about to pass. ".. Actually..." He said quietly. "... I don't consider visitors as guests...." He began to step towards her, feet silent on the creaky floorboards. He walked calmly, though his visible black-brown eye showed a restrained ferocity, like that of a cat about to pounce.

"Is that so?" Izzy blinked, twirling past him, her body twisting in an unimaginable position to escape any sort of reach he had on her. Years of ballet made her able to contort herself like a pretzel if she so chose to do so.
"Creepy." she said to him before skipping down the aisle and into another one. "Now you're going to attempt to kill me, right? Horror movie etiquette would require that this would be a must. A young teenage girl alone in a huge room with a creepy young boy? Yep, she has to die now. And "lost" in a maze, no less." she laughed at her words, disappearing around another corner, following the trail books she had left out on the shelves.

Simon didn't reach for her, but watched as she darted and fluttered away from him. ".. Life isn't a horror movie..." He replied slightly louder so she could hear at her increasing distance. "... That's a terrible thing to assume... And calling me creepy, no less...." Briefly a dark blur, he moved to the top of one of the bookshelves and crouched there, studying her route. Figuring out her tactic - prey had used the same before - he gave a wave of his hand as if shooing away a fly. As if at the command of his fingertips the misplaced books glided back into their places. Now she had no trail of breadcrumbs to follow. Melting into shadow, he slipped down the bookshelf and reformed to stand in another aisle. He could still smell and hear her, and now she should have much more difficulty in finding her way back to the entrance.

((Teh floor is so not carpet. KTHX))
As the books slid into place, Izzy hesitated, shoe scuffing against the floor with a loud squeak. She stared at the shelf for a long moment, wondering how that book had went back to it's spot without someone moving it before quirking a brow. She was slightly reminded of a scene from Tithe and as she thought of it, she continued moving, dragging her feet as she did so. Every now and then, a dull scuffing sound would occur as she left a scuff mark on the polished floor, not really caring if she ruined the floor or not.
"Well, you are kinda creepy," she said, raising her voice slightly. "I saw that look in your eyes. The one that screamed homicidal man-i-ac ." she said the last word slowly, pronouncing every syllable, to get her point across. "Or, to put it nicely, the look of a monster." she tucked a few strands of hair behind her ear, stopping at a cross road in the maze. She peered left then right, wondering which direction she should take. If she was really going to be murdered, shouldn't she have been.. more freaked out? But, freaking out never did much good, anyways... She was unusually calm in catastrophic situations, which could be a good or a bad thing depending on the way you looked at it. And if she did lose her head (haha), she'd most likely end up more lost than she all ready was.

Years of being lied to and trying to get herself out of unpleasant situations had sharpened Akina's intuition to an almost uncanny point. Often, she found herself able to look into the eyes and subtle gestures of others and read the true, masked intent behind them. This is why the young boy she found herself with alarmed her so much.
Her sapphire gaze had lifted Ember's quickly vanishing form with a mixture of confusion and anger. She'd been ready to attack the boy with angry words and maybe even physical assault all because of the intense emotions these people had put her through, but then she met his eyes. Most liars, when they smile, their eyes retain their true emotion. Vile's were surprisingly warm, and she found herself reluctantly responding to his attempt at conversation.
Akina inclined her upper body forward, her lips twitching undecidedly between a frown and a more passive face, wondering how she should act and feel in her current situation. This was all too confusing, and his good nature was not helping. She truly wanted to be angry at this point. It was safer.
"Our car decided to kill itself, and we decided to risk the same by walking over here." She answered, her tone quietly sarcastic as she stared up at him.

His hearing picked up on the quickening of her pulse and he felt a tightening sensation in his stomach. Ember stepped cautiously forward, deaf to Charlie's voice calling out her friend's name. All he could hear was the heartbeat as it spread warmth through every inch of her tiny form.
She opened another door, and the creaking caught his attention. She musn't go to the library or disturb Simon's process in anyway. Instinctively, he reached forward, his body materializing as he touched her left shoulder blade. "You're far too curious." He whispered, his voice hoarse as he attempted to tear his gaze from her pale neck.

He began gliding between the bookshelves, listening to her - if she kept talking he wouldn't need her noisy footsteps, not even her heartbeat. He abruptly stopped at her last word, a frown clinging to his lips as his brow furrowed. He didn't like that word. Simon continued, finally passing through a bookshelf to stand right in front of the girl, uncomfortably close. "You don't even know what a real monster is." He said venomously. His pale features twitched into a brief scowl as he spoke, his dark eyes leering down at her. If there was going to be killing in this horror movie, it would most likely be now. But a sound he usually liked suddenly distracted him. His burning gaze darted towards the creaking door. His mind reached towards Ember, finding him in the process of keeping another girl out. Simon made the contact brief, however, as Ember's hunger wafted into his own for a second.

'Monster'. The word reached his ear, almost triggering an involuntary growl. The hand that sat at his side clenched into a fist as he took a small step away from Charlie, closing his eyes in an attempt to calm himself.
He felt Simon contact him briefly, and he fought to concentrate more on his true purpose. His heavy lids lifted, and he smiled as he reached past the small female. The fist he'd created unfurled to rest atop her shoulder as he gripped the knob with his other hand and pulled the door shut. "We can come up here later. Akina asked me to come get you." He tightened his gentle hold on the girl, using it to turn her around.

((Just for the record, Ville is a traitor. Human blood. It doesn't appease him. xD! And this is because I can't really see him killing innocent people. So. I don't care if it's against the rules. ~3~ It makes everything more interesting anyways.))
Ville was silent for a moment, eyes round and thoughtful as they shifted to the floor. They darkened a shade and his listened to Simon and Ember's thoughts then he took a small breath through his nose. A pang of guilt hit him in his chest and he peered down at Akina through his lashes, smiling softly.
"That's tough luck.. But I don't believe you chose the best place to come to for help.." he held his hands up innocently. "But.. at the moment, you'll want to go to the library where you'll find Izzy. Frightened, I'm sure...." he said it slowly, carefully. "I'll take you there, if you want..." he kept his thought process blocked from his other brothers, something he did rather easily. He had said nothing to Akina to give their secret away but he still didn't want something.. so.. innocent to die. He repressed a shudder at the idea.
-----
"And I'm sure you know all about it," Izzy hissed, slamming the book into his face and shoving him away from her. She shuddered slightly, sliding past him and, luckily for her, toward the exit. Her ears perked as she heard the creaking and she instinctively called out, "Charlie?! Akina?!" her voice was a pitch higher than usual. Maybe the fear was finally catching up with her. She ducked out of the maze, gripping the book tightly in her hands as she ran for the door.
