((whoops))
::Tier admired his invisibleness as much as he could since he was invisible and he really couldnt actually SEE himself..:: "Amazing Nancy....simply amazing....Oh yes, about that. I wasnt sure exactly what it was but it was very silent and swift from what I could make out. Shouldnt pose much of a threat but we cant let our guard down." Tier jogged briskly to the base of the tree Nancy was in. He began to climb his little body up the side of the tree, eventually reaching Nancy and collapsing beside her with a sigh.::

Nancy giggled at Tier's fascination with his invisibleness. He was pretty cool for a Sprite. She waited for something to climb up the tree, since he was invisible to her as well. "Right. No letting our guard down until we find her, or until I die. Either could be rather soon or could be far from here." As something fell on her and sighed, Nancy turned him visible again. This could be rather entertaining if she wanted it to be. "Where should we go next?" Nancy grinned, asking Tier. It was not a question she'd normally ask anyone, but they were to be a team, so she had to ask. Then realisation hit, was she really in love with a Sprite?

A small, cozy den sat beneath a tree, the roots forming the walls, and the floor made warm with dirt and leaves. A small black nose poked its way through the leaves to the outside, woken up by the sudden scuttling on the outside of the tree. The little nose wiggled, taking in what it could, inexperienced and sleepy still. A short muzzle slowly appeared, then finally the small head of a little fox. He was very round of face, with bright brown eyes, and a splotch of white on his chin, making him look very cute, and still with a muddy baby coat, no less. He swivled his ears, that were still much too big for his head, and looked upwards with its dark eyes. A people? His nose wiggled again, there were two...things of some sort, one was a people, maybe, but the other..he didn't know what. He took a small step out, curiosity burning, and kept looking upwards, maw slightly open, hoping to get a better look, without being detected.

Nancy whispered to Tier. "That's what the little thing is!" Nancy jumped down from the tree and landed on her feet with ease. "What are you doing little animal? Are you trying to spy on us, huh? Answer me!" she said. She wasn't sure if fox could understand English, but if that didn't work, she knew several animal languages as well. One of which happened to be fox. She waited patiently, tapping her foot, for the thing's reply.

::Tier sighed deeply as he pushed himself upright. He muttered under his breath something about the tree but quickly stopped, shaking his head saying "No No, thats not right.." He looked down from the tree at Nancy, amused by the fact that he was looking down at her and not the other way around.:: "Well find out if he bites first, I dont wanna be added onto his food chain if you know what I mean."

The little fox yelped and skittered backwards, startled. He went to bark but a small whine came out instead. The fox wrinkled its nose, displeased with himself for not being very threatening. He took a deep breath and licked his chops "I wasn't doing nuthin'!" His english slurred, for he wasn't used to the 'english people talk'. He puffed himself up, and rather than making himself look bigger, or more frightening, he simply looked cuter, and innocent. "I was jus' sleepin', and you climbed my tree and you woked me up." he huffed. "I have no reason to spy." He stepped farther out from his den, and stretched. White splotches lined his belly back paws, he didn't appear to be any different from a normal pup except that he could obviously speak english and now that he was out of his den, it was visible that he had two white-tipped tails that were held up off of the ground.

Nancy grinned. She looked at Tier. She just had to giggle a bit at how frightened he was about a tired fox. "I believe you fox. What's your name? Can you tell me that much?" Nancy smiled. She found nothing abnormal about an English speaking fox. She had been around too many abnormal things to think this was any different. "We will try to be quieter. I am sorry we woke you up. We didn't mean to. It was just that we were so afraid that someone was going to hurt us, so we climbed the tree to see who it was. Then we saw you. Peace?" Nancy held out her hand, as she crouched down. She hoped that the fox would put his paw into her hand. She had to be prepared for either though. An attack was always possible. She waited, not quite breathing, but not taking her eyes off of him. What would he do next?

The little fox raised a paw and clumsily placed it in Nancy's hand. "Pleased to meet you, my name is Talou." He sniffed the air and looked up at the sprite sitting up in the tree. He tilted his head, placing his front paws on the trunk and stretching his body upward. He looked at Nancy. "You said somebody was going to hurt you?" He sat down and scratched his head. "Do you know who? ...Or why?"
