Talou slowed to a walk, leading them to a slight clearing. He looked about, sniffing. There were spells written on scroll paper stuck to trees, meant to ward off evil intentions. Talou looked back "We're safe from here on in." He walked them to the opening of a wide rock cave, with spell paper stuck to the entrance. Talou licked his paw and rubbed three long strokes of mud onto a spell paper, it flashed breifly, the mud disppearing. Talou trotted inside. The cave was very cold and dark inside and only decreased in tempurature as Talou led further inside. After a while the floor became covered in straw mats, and a small beam of light fell down revealing a large stone cylinder. Talou walked towards it and propped himself up against it, looking in. He took a deep breath and out from his mouth, a roar and cackle of red flame shot out, the inside of the cylinder, and in turn, torches on either side of the inside of the cave lit up, the light dancing off of glittering gold and gems, and shining metalworks. Instantly the cave was warm and bright, and Talou smiled, "It's been a while since I've been in here."

Nancy followed Talou and slowed when he slowed. Finally, they were safe. Nancy's eyes widened as she saw a large amount of glittering gold and precious gems. She could be rich. Breaking out of her trance, she only took what she thought to be a reasonable amount for the journey. Nancy was freezing by the time they got to the back of the cave, but didn't really mind. Suddenly, the cave became warm and bright. It was beautiful in there.
She saw the metalworks as well and examined them carefully. Listening closely to what talou might say about each object. 'What do you mean you haven't been here in a while? I thought you said your brother lives here? Right?" Nancy asked, letting Tier down to roam on his own, if he cared to do so. Everything was so beautiful and precious and genuine. It was like nothing Nancy had ever seen in the caves of Salibeth. She could stand there in awe for hours, but knew that time was of the essence and they needed to get back on the road as soon as possible.

"Not anymore." Talou's voice became soft and sad. "He was murdered a while back by a group of humans" Talou sighed and walked back into an adjecent room. "The reason? There was none." He spat from the other room. Talou sighed and looked around "My brother was a talented metalsmith. He could smelt and make anything from anything, from golden statues to iron swords. His quality was unmatched, and he was very kind and gentle, I don't understand how anyone could just kill him. Excuse me for a second." Talou backed away from them quite a bit closing his eyes and concentrating, he flicked his tails and was suddenly enveloped by a blue flame. The flame wasn't hot, but in fact very cool. The flames subsided quickly and in the place of the little fox was a small little Girl with Brown hair and the soft eyes of the little fox. She had light creamy skin and a small triangle-shaped face. The girl looked completely human except her feet and shins were still those of a fox and she sported a long tail. He(now she), quickly pulled a robe from the back of a chair and wrapped herself.

::As Nancy set Tier down his eyes glanced over the gems and gold without care and were locked onto Talou. He still didnt trust the creature, despite his nonthreatening actions so far. Tier knew Nancy somewhat trusted him therefore he would say nothing for this was Nancys mission and where ever she would go Tier would be sure to follow.::
Tier thought to himself for a couple of minutes as Nancy questioned. "Humans killed his brother eh? Appears to me as if the reasons sitting right in front of you. These objects...these crafts....of course they'd kill him. They're weak minded creatures who desire beauty and pretty things.....fools".
As Talou took on his transformation Tiers hands slid to his daggers. His eyes grew as he watched the creature change. He could feel the elemental electric running into his fingers ready to be fired if needed. His original form was disliked by Tier enough...but to mix it with the appearance of a human girl disgusted Tier. Flashbacks of his mother and brother and the agony of his teenage years consumed his head and it was all he could to hold back from lashing out. He hid behind Nancy in an attempt to cool down and awaited some answers.

(Note: I'll refer to Talou as male even though he is in a female form.)
Talou watched Tier carefully, not understanding his obvious dislike. "The murder wasn't driven by greed." Talou sighed "When we discovered my brother dead, we looked and everything was still here, untouched. They simply hated him because he wasn't human." Talou stared sadly at the ground, and wrung his hands. The little Sprite's unhappiness was making him uneasy. He leaned slightly the one side, trying to look at Tier, but gave up and began to dress. He pulled on some loose-fitting pants, and secured the robe with a red sash. Talou tied his hair up in a careful ponytail with a red ribbon and smoothed it back. He moved into a closet and pulled out a wide black leather belt. He put it on and filled a pouch with white powder. He attached a dagger to one side, and two long Katanas to the back. He began to exit and gestured "Come on, there's no time to dawdle." He glanced back at Tier with a sigh, and led them out.

Nancy just watched in disgust, speechless. Why did humans feel the need to murder merely because others are different. She began hating this world she had landed in more and more. She also watched as Talou turned into a human girl form. She, too, decided that it would be safer if she looked more human. She changed her clothes into something more human and fashionable, then let her white blonde hair down, so it sparked off of the tools and treasures. She then made her runes invisible and wore high heels, though when running, they would turn into the human Nike Shox. She smiled. "Of course. Let us leave. Tier, you ready? Do you not trust him Tier?" She said, shouting the first part to Talou, but then in a hushed whisper, asked Tier the second part. She trusted Tier and would most likely do what made him happiest. Unadmittantly, she trusted him with her life and loved him. She just did not know if the same was true for him...

::Tier watched as both Nancy and Talou tried to make themselves appear more human. The idea made his skin crawl!
He looked up at Nancy and whispered to her softly. "I dont know...something just doesnt feel right...."
Tier was completely unaware of Nancys feelings for him. Normally he would be quite the flirt but with Nancys mission on his mind, he never really took the time to admire her beauty and grace. In a last minute attempt to try and not dress up for the humans, Tier asked Nancy nicely "How about I just hide in one of your storage bags or somethin until we arrive? It'll be so much easier than having to find me...clothes..but they wont really matter anyways, Im only so tall." Tier chuckled at himself and waited for a response.

Nancy smiled at Tier. "I'm sorry, but human seems to be the only way to go and not get killed. You heard what happened to Talou's brother. Nothing ever feels right when on a mission. I might end up dying by the end of this. No matter what, though, I will make sure you are safe at every second. I can't afford to lose you, Tier." Nancy almost had tears in her eyes, but turned quickly away to wipe them before anyone could notice.
She was human in every sense now. That is why she had never used this operation before. She still had her powers, but she was weaker than before. "Of course, Tier. Whatever makes you comfortable and happy. I really do appreciate you even coming. Thank you. Just know, when we leave this cave, we are all at risk and Talou knows that as well. Do you trust me?"
Nancy needed to know this before she stepped back onto the open battlefield with the task of finding her aunt. Something told her she should be somewhere around the London area, but trying to locate her exact home could take hours. She had to go now. She called to Talou to wait up. She had to only wait for Tier's response before she'd be gone.
